A Vaginal Birth After a Cesarean, or a VBAC, is a safe, responsible & empowering option for most Women who have undergone a previous Cesarean Birth.  The culture surrounding VBAC’s though can be a bit difficult to navigate, a bit confusing, & above all, overwhelming!  Be it family, friends or professionals, everyone seems to have an opinion & all too often one opinion conflicts with another!

 

I absolutely love supporting women on their journey to a VBAC! In addition to Birth Doula services, I also offer private consultations.

 

Private Consultations

Be it a schedule conflict, a location issue, or simply that you are not yet ready to process your prior birth(s) in a group setting, I am happy to meet with you or you and your partner on an individual basis.

In these one-on-one sessions, we can use the time to talk about whatever it is that is coming up for you.  The first session is typically 60 min, and any follow up sessions can be 30-60 minutes depending on your needs.  Often times, private sessions include some or all of the following:

 

• ​Processing your prior birth(s)

• Information and support regarding the options available to you for your upcoming birth

• Referrals for care providers and complimentary services.

• Assistance in creating a plan for your upcoming birth.
