Whether you are planning to birth at home or in hospital, with or without the use of medications...no matter how you choose to birth, a Doula is a valuable asset to your birthing team! As a professionally trained Doula, I offer physical, emotional and educational support and provide one-on-one individualized care to support you and your partner through pregnancy, labor, birth and immediate postpartum.

 

I believe that there is no one "right way" to birth, just "YOUR WAY!” As your Doula, I will support you in your decisions and to help to insure that you have the information you need to make those decisions with confidence and in awareness!

 

My Birth Doula Package includes the following services:

• ​Complimentary Consultation - a "no-obligation" visit for us to meet in person and chat about my services & your hopes!​

• Email/Phone Support both prenatally & postpartum -  I am here for you!  For questions, concerns, process, and to discuss prenatal visits with your care provider!

• At least, 2 in-home prenatal visits that allow us to prepare for your birth; to delve deeper into topics important to you, clarify your birth plan, discuss and practice comfort measures, common procedures, newborn care, etc.   

• On-Call 24 hrs/day from 38 weeks until delivery  - Once we enter the on-call period, we will be in close contact and I will be available to support you during labor.

• Continuous Labor Support in home & in the hospital until 1-2 hrs after delivery

• Use of a TENS Unit (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) if you desire.

• 1-2 postpartum visits to discuss the birth, assist with breastfeeding, life as a new Parent, to answer any questions and make any referrals as needed.

• Breastfeeding Support should the need arise

• Photos &/or Video (if desired)

• A Backup Doula in the event of an emergency and I am unable to attend your birth. ​

• Placenta Encapsulation Services, Holistic Childbirth Preparation & Breastfeeding Essentials Classes available at a discounted rate for Doula clients.
